Our A2 language course, based in our city centre English Language school, offers learners with some experience of learning English the opportunity to expand on their existing skills in a dynamic and adventurous learning environment. This course follows the Lexical Approach, providing learners with a wealth of new vocabulary to use in new communicative contexts which they are likely to encounter in real-life. The English course is adapted and tailored to the needs of the individuals and the group as a whole and is aimed at preparing learners for the next stage: our B1 English language course.

At A2 level, the learners can expect to be guided through the simple and continuous tenses, while also being introduced to the perfect forms and functions in a real-life context. A great deal of communication is both expected and encouraged in our English classes, to ensure that learners leave with stronger ability, competence, and confidence to communicate in English after they leave our lessons. At this level, English lessons are focused on facilitating language that will enable learners to accomplish their language goals both in and out of the classroom, giving them the skills to deal with real-life scenarios.

Our B1 English course, based in our city centre Language school, provides learners, who are classed as independent users of the English language at this level, with the opportunity to develop their existing skills. There is a heavy focus on communication and improving

learners’ ability to deal with authentic, real-life situations. The course follows the Lexical Approach, which provides learners with useful, relatable, high-frequency vocabulary that can be used to discuss relevant topics in English.

At B1 level, learners can expect to revise and refine what they have already covered in previous English classes, while being guided through a variety of texts, listening activities, and writing tasks to practice the new language features that are being covered during our English course. Our native, experienced and highly dedicated teachers are on hand to provide personalised feedback based on performance within the class and homework done outside of the class. The lessons are tailored to the needs of both the individuals and the group and will contain the necessary practice to enhance the desired objectives of students.

UPPER-INTERMEDIATE

ENGLISH COURSE -B2-

Our B2 language courses, based at our city-centre language school, offers a great opportunity for experienced and accomplished English learners to understand the grammar usage in natural English while building on their already strong English language skills.
Learners will be provided with expert instruction on new language points, looking beyond simply the form but exploring the myriad functional uses of a particular English language feature through dynamic texts, listening materials and class discussion.

At B2, learners are expected to have a rich and varied experience of learning English; our goal is to help learners to progress and work on the particular objectives a group or individual may have; all classes are tailored to the students following needs assessment, carried out by the teachers. Students are also provided with a range of diverse opportunities to use language in the classroom, to engage students in dynamic and controversial topics that are aimed at generating discussion within the classroom that will continue beyond the
learning environment. Alongside the tried and tested materials provided and the ample opportunity for verbal discussion during the English course, learners will rapidly increase in confidence and competence.
